Statement on Sam McQuestin
Congratulations to Sam McQuestin on his appointment as the Victorian State Liberal Director.
Sam has served in the role as Tasmanian State Director for the past eight years and is the longest serving director in the country, and his hard work and dedication has led the Tasmanian Liberals through one of its most successful periods in history.
His record in Tasmania speaks for itself, having played a key role in delivering back to back majority Liberal Governments at the last two State Elections, and regaining Bass and Braddon at this year’s Federal Election.
Sam has also been instrumental in growing our division, creating a stable and professional outfit.
Sam has also been a good friend for many years and I thank him for the support he has shown me on many occasions in what can be a difficult business.
Tasmania’s loss is certainly Victoria’s gain, and I wish Sam well in his new role.
