DEPORT VIOLENT OFFENDERS

DEPORT VIOLENT OFFENDERS

When will Labor put community safety first?

Reports that a violent offender who should never have been granted a visa is now back out on the streets are deeply concerning.

This individual was rejected multiple times by the Coalition.

Labor chose to grant the visa anyway.

Now Australians are facing the consequences.

This is exactly what happens when a government ignores warnings and lowers standards.

A dangerous individual is allowed into the country.

And then allowed to reoffend.

And Labor is acting like there is nothing it can do.

That is not good enough.

I’m calling on Labor to:

  • Deport violent non-citizens immediately

  • Strengthen the law to prevent dangerous offenders being released into the community

  • Be transparent with Australians about how they will manage these risks

  • Put community safety first, not legal loopholes

Stand with me.

Tell Labor to act now and use every available power to deport violent offenders and keep Australians safe.
