Silence on fish and forests proves Labor a risk

For all Labor’s talk about its support for the fisheries and forest industries, tonight Labor has shown that it is all talk and no substance.

The alternative budget handed down by Labor leader Anthony Albanese spelled it out. No plan and no commitments.

These industries and the communities they support deserve better from the party seeking to win the next election.

This is the last budget before the election and the lack of policy proves that Labor will sell out regional communities and primary industries to win inner-city votes.

Far from protecting and growing these industries, Labor will shut them down as they have in the past.

Only the Coalition has a plan and can be trusted to deliver on what these industries need to grow and thrive into the future.
