Congratulations to Peter Gutwein who will become the 46th Premier of Tasmania.
Tasmania has undergone an unprecedented period of growth since the election of the Liberal Government in 2014, and I’m sure Peter Gutwein will continue the positive gains made in recent years.
Having worked closely with Peter in opposition and in Government, I know how committed he is to seeing our State thrive and Tasmanians can rest assured the State will be in safe hands under his leadership.
Congratulations also to Deputy Premier Jeremy Rockliff, who has done an outstanding job over many years and will continue to do so.
I look forward to working closely with the Premier and the Cabinet as the State and Federal Governments continue to deliver our long-term plans for Tasmania’s future.
