Assistant Minister Jonno Duniam said Tasmania is a big winner in this week’s Federal Budget.

“The Morrison Government has committed $105.2 million to infrastructure projects across Franklin, which will boost economic recovery,” Assistant Minister Duniam said.

“The major investment includes $48 million to upgrade the Algona Road interchange and duplicating the Kingston Bypass.

“We’ve committed $13.2 million for the Huon Link Road and $44 million for the Rokeby Road and South Arm Road Upgrades.

“Importantly, these projects will help Tasmanian families stay safe and get home sooner.”

The Australian Government looks forward to working constructively with the Tasmanian Government to deliver this infrastructure, supporting jobs and businesses right across Tasmania.
